Cannon Continues Selinsgrove Dominance

 It was business as usual for Pat Cannon Saturday night at Selinsgrove Speedway.

 In just his fifth race of the season at the Snyder County oval, the Etters driver came out on top of the Firecracker 30 for 358 Sprint cars. The win was the fourth of the season for Cannon and the Zane and Vicki Highlands owned sprint car team.

 Cannon started in the sixth spot and took the lead on a lap 17 restart from TJ Stutts, who had exchanged the lead with Colby Womer during the early laps.

 Cannon was able to stay ahead of Stutts, despite heavy lapped traffic for the $2,000 payday and his 14th career track win.

 Stutts, of Liverpool was second over point leader Nate Snyder of Halifax, Carlisle’s Jason Shultz and Lewisberry’s Kevin Nouse.

 Donnie Schick won for the first time in late model action at the track taking the win over young Dylan Yoder, Jeff Smith, Brett Schadel and Bryan Bernheisel.

 AJ Stroup won his first pro stock feature of the season over Shaun Miller and Dan Jensen while Ricky Bender won his fifth roadrunner main over Keith Bissinger and Kyle Miller.


CRISWELL GETS THIRD
 West Virginia driver Chad Criswell drove to this third win of the season in Super Sportsman Tour action Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway.

 Aboard the Danny Miller owned No. 55, Criswell started on the front row and dominated the event in his win over Phil Griffith, Dylan Cisney, Jason Fry and Paul Miller.

 Glenndon Forsythe raced to his first 358 Sprint car win of the year at Lincoln after getting around Jeff Rohrbaugh late in the event.

 Dale Hammaker finished third over Brad McClelland and Bill Dietrich.

 Shermansdale’s Shaun Jones won the regularly scheduled 358 late model over Gene Knaub, Bobby Beard, Cory Houck and Mike Walls while Knaub won the makeup feature that was rained out on May 16th. He topped Mike Walls, Jones, Craig Wagaman and Mike Spangler.


MILLER GETS HAGERSTOWN WIN
 It’s been a struggle for Gettysburg’s Jeremy Miller this season with his new team.

 Saturday night was a good night for Miller and the USA Spares late model team as Miller came out on top of the 44th annual Johnny Roberts Memorial. It was his third win in the event and his 26th overall win at Hagerstown.

 Miller started 11th in the field and took the lead on lap 34 and drove away for the win over World of Outlaws racer Josh Richards, Devin Friese, Roy Deese, Jr. and Jim Yoder.

 Richard Walls was leading the late model sportsman feature when it was called official due to a time limit. Walls won over Wayne Walls, Jr., Kyle Lear, Randy Shaeffer and Scott Palmer.

 Mike Warrenfeltz won the pure stock feature over Danny Beavers, Wayne Hawbaker, Dave Stouffer, Jr. and Drew Fitzsimmons.


BILLET CONTINUES STREAK
 Dover’s Chase Billet kept the different feature winner streak alive with his first win of the season in Saturday’s Summer Fun 40 for 358 late models at Susquehanna Speedway Park.

 Billet became the 10th different winner in as many races at SSP. Billet led the entire distance in the win over Jake Jones, Kyle Saylor, Gary Potts and Derrick Mease.

 Scott Thunberg won for the second week in a row in street stock action over Dustin Hollinger, Craig Morgan, Garrett Shover and Jim Palm, Jr.

 Travis Horan picked up the Xtreme Stock car win over Tommy Slanker and Mike Zeigler, Jr.


ANOTHER WIN FOR MCCLELLAND
 Brad McClelland won his third 358 Sprint car feature of the year Friday at Trail-Way Speedway.

 McClelland defeated Jeff Rohrbaugh, Brian Buckner, Logan Schuchart and Bill Dietrich.

 Brad Shank won the thundercar main over David Prunkl, Sam Gallagher, Kyle Martin and Will Walls.


OTHER WEEKEND RESULTS
 Kenny Harris was the 600 Micro Sprint winner Saturday at Shippensburg Speedway over Bo Gordon, Kyle Ganoe, Tyler Fisher and Dave Dimaio. Other track winners were Kyle Martin (Thundercars), Aaron Swope (4-cylinders), Mike Crate (Mini stocks) and Troy Wagaman (young guns).

 Ben Murphy won Thursday night’s PA 600 Micro Sprint Speedweek event at Susquehanna Speedway Park.

 Now living in North Carolina, Murphy scored the $2,500 payday in his win over Heath Henley, Tim Dietz, Brock Zearfoss and Liam Williams. Newville’s Timmie Barrick was eighth.

 Enola’s Jake Murphy won Friday night’s PA 600 Micro Sprint Speedweek event at Linda’s Speedway. Murphy’s win came over Ryan Smith, Duane Harbaugh, Ryan Wilson and Jimmy Brookens.
Mike Rutherford won the final race of the 600 Speedweek Saturday at Lanco Speedway and the $5,000 payday to go with it.  Heath Hehnley and Shane Lewis ended the Speedweek series in a tie for first in final points with 236 points each. Jake Murphy was third, Jim Brookens fourth and Mike Rutherford fifth.

 Greencastle’s DJ Myers won the big $10,000 prize in Friday night’s Yankee Doodle 50 for late models at Central PA Speedway. Myers took the win over Robbie Blair and Greg Satterlee.

 York Haven’s Racin Jason Covert won a career first Lucas Oil late model series win Friday at Ohio’s Muskingum County Speedway over Josh Richards and Earl Pearson, Jr. That win was worth $10,000.
