2010 Top 10 Late Models

Led Central PA with 12 feature wins including another dominating season at Selinsgrove, a track he has owned for the past five seasons.

Rine had two season championships, his sixth career at Selinsgrove and a first career title at the Bedford Speedway.

The titles came driving for two different car owners. Rine became the first ever driver at Selinsgrove to win five straight feature events and ended  the year with nine total wins at the track.

Rine also had two wins at Port Royal to kick off the season.

Rine also qualified for both nights of the World Finals in Charlotte.

The “true Outlaw” late model racer had 10 feature wins in 2010 for another great season in the Klinedinst owned late model.

Covert’s season consisted of competition with the World of Outlaws, All Stars, Lucas Oil Series, UFO, Three State Flyers, many special events and some regular shows.

Covert won six Three State Flyers features-two each at Hagerstown and Bedford and one each at Natural Bridge and Roaring Knob.

He had two UFO wins at Dog Hollow and Roaring Knob along with two wins at regular shows at Hagerstown and Bedford. He had 17 top five finishes.

Made it four straight Port Royal Speedway track titles and seven total.

Haus owned his own operation this year and ended up with six Port wins and another at Bedford.

He had 16 top five finishes in 20 starts at the Port.

After several close seasons including losing last year by one point, Plessinger finally captured his first career Hagerstown Speedway late model track championship.

Plessinger had one win at the track and also a win at Path Valley during the season.

Had his best season in a few years which included four wins for the Paul Crowl owned team.

Stuhler, who finished seventh in Hagerstown points despite missing several shows, ended the year with a big $10,000 win in the Octoberfest.

He won two features at Williams Grove, including the Late Model Speedweek show and the late model feature on Kasey Kahne Night.

The young Shippensburg University student had a good season that included four feature wins.

Yoder’s season was plagued but some mechanical woes that kept him from running for any point chases.

Great season included a Clinton County Speedway track championship, six overall feature wins on the year, including four at Port Royal.

Wagner was fourth in final Port Royal points.

Not a bad season for a first year team that included a runner-up in final points at Hagerstown Speedway and two feature wins.

Wasn’t the season he was hoping for but Miller did win five times and had 24 top 10 finishes in the family owned machine.

Miller finished in the runner-up spot in the 2010 Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek.

Selinsgrove runner-up in points and seemed to always be in the top five.

He did finally get a win in the track’s final race.
