After claiming his first ever 358 Sprint car championship last season at Selinsgrove Speedway despite not winning a feature event, Nate Snyder won’t have to worry about not winning this season.

The Halifax driver took advantage of Bob Beidleman’s late race misfortune and turned it into his first win in nearly two years at the track as he won the track’s 25-lap 358 Sprint car feature Saturday night.

Snyder started 11th in the field as veteran Beidleman set the pace from his fourth starting spot.

Snyder made a bid for the lead on a lap 21 restart but Beidleman maintained the lead until his car ran out of fuel on lap 23, turning the lead and win over to Snyder.

Snyder held off Pat Cannon, TJ Stutts, Blane Heimbach and Mike Walter.

Jeff Rine made it three out of three in the 25-lap late model feature and made mince meat of the competition, taking the checkered flag by a 13-second advantage over Dylan Yoder, Steve Campbell, Dave Zona and Jim Yoder.

Jason Smith won the $1,000 prize in the Ink Spot Printing pro stock feature over AJ Hoffman, AJ Stroup, Dave Brouse, Jr. and Doug Minium while Marlin Dunham scored the roadrunner win over Ricky Bender and Scott Dunham, Jr.
