Led the area with 14 overall wins in the Gunters Honey #00 but left the team near the end of the year…Four wins at Hagerstown and was just fast every time he hit the track all season long…Had three wins each at Bedford, Winchester and Potomac Speedway’s…Lost the Hagerstown track title in the final night of racing after mechanical woes sent him pitside…Plans are to be back in the family owned No. 00 machine next season...


 

2. Jeff Rine

Another super season at Selinsgrove where he won another late model title…Second highest winner in the area with nine total wins, eight coming at his home track…Rine raced his own car on Saturday night’s and drove for another team on Friday night’s at Bedford…Should have the same deals again next season…

 

3. J T Spence

Not a big season winner but won the Hagerstown Speedway track championship, which is quite a feat…Had two wins on the year, one at Hagerstown and another at Winchester..Runs the family owned #91 and looks to be back strong next year…


 

4. Scotty Haus

Port Royal track champion once again..Nine wins on the year, seven at the Port…Competes all over in big races driving the #33 machine…Expect another big 2008 with the same team…


 

5. Carl Billet

Concentrated on Susquehanna Speedway and dominated with eight wins at the track and the track championship as well…It was his first season in the Updegraff #1 late model and the team will be strong again next year…


 

6. Tyler Hershey

Just sixteen years old and won the Williams Grove 358 late model title in his first season as a regular the track…Big $5,000 winner in first ever visit to Susquehanna for the Late Model Showdown…The James Buchanan High School student won four times on the season and will be splitting time between the super lates and 358 late models in the family owned #74 next year…


 

7. Gary Stuhler

Not a record breaking season for “Mr. Smooth” but none the less still a seven win season for the veteran aboard the Ninninger Racing #90...Stuhler will return for another year in 2008...


 

8. Jason Covert

Two straight MACS series championships for the former Silver Spring regular…Covert had five wins on the year in the Klinedinst #43a…Returns with the team next year most likely running a similar schedule…


 

9. Jack Pencil

2007 Bedford Speedway champion and a four time winner in his own #14 machine…Pencil is one of the best at Bedford and will be back with the same deal next year…


 

10. Gene Knaub

Enjoyed a great season with six overall wins and a Williams Grove runner-up points finish…
