It’s not been the season Lance Dewease has been accustomed to.
Wins are harder to come by and it’s hard to believe that the
Fayetteville driver has been shut out of Port Royal Speedway
victory lane.
Until Saturday night.
Dewease started ninth in the field and tracked down Rick
Lafferty on lap 14 and drove to his first win of the year at the
Port and 91st of his illustrious career at the track. It was the
final tune-up at the track for this week’s $30,000 to win Dream
Race Extreme.

sprinter with track points leader Keith Kauffman third, Jeff
Shepard fourth and Kevin Nouse fifth in the BG Motorsports
